It has all the elements I could have asked for from a movie for a laid back afternoon; and of course Emma Stone made the movie that much better. It opens as a seemingly narrated and diary-esque movie with chapters of progression but it felt as if you were drawn into this teenage world of stereotypes and rumours. Having left Highschool for almost two years, I could relate back to what it was like being in such an environment (Been there done that, ya know?).
Emma Stone (whom I've totally adored since Superbad and Zombieland) was a great choice to play Olive Penderghast. Her real life dorky (I would say so) personality personified Olive's as a character in such a way that made her grow and thrive within the movie. Amanda Bynes as the religious girl gave another extra hit of comedy to the movie. I also can't keep myself from quoting Dan Byrd (Brandon). This is only the tip of the iceberg, there were so many more in the casts that made the movie enjoyable.
All in all, if you're there for some comedy that the whole family could enjoy (14-15+ - and even adults!) then definitely go watch this movie. :D
Now some screens from the movie:

Amanda Bynes - Marianne (Left), Emma Stone - Olive (Right)

BANG.
Final verdict - 9/10
